Where the Boys Are

Where the Boys Are is a creation for younger audience (13+), playfully exploring the intersection of dance and martial arts. Examining and reconstructing the vocabulary of different fighting practices, the two performers transform the arena into a zone of sensitive and intimate action, and expose different perspectives on relations between young men.

A production by explore dance – Netzwerk Tanz für junges Publikum, a cooperation of the partners fabrik moves Potsdam, Fokus Tanz / Tanz und Schule e.V. Munich, K3 | Tanzplan Hamburg and HELLERAU – Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden.
